VIRGINI SENDEN,
enjoying every day life, every day!
I am an artist, creator, explorer who loves the outdoors and enjoys being as self sufficient as I can be. I am curious and love to do things with my hands. My motto is often “How hard can it be?” and “Better failed, then not having tried!” This attitude has made me try many things and with failures also came many successes and confidence. I am also a very happy and balanced person that does not sweat the small stuff and I think living my life the way that I do contributes to that. I grew up on a farm and am very happy and fortunate that I live on a small plot of land in the Alberta Foothills. This gives me the opportunity to grow my own fruit and vegetables with which I love to prepare good healthy meals. It is important to me to feed my family well and to know where my family's food comes from. I care for the land and my fellow creatures and I believe that if I will care for them that they in turn will care for me. I try to reduce my footprint as much as possible by being as self sufficient as I can be. I am not perfect, but believe that every effort that we make regardless of the size will help us all. We live on a beautiful planet and we all have to work at keeping it that way.

I noticed that when looking around me that lots of people struggle with finding their balance and as such their peace with life. That is why I decided to start this lifestyle blog because I felt the need to inspire and help people live a more balanced and happier life. In the blog I will share with you my endeavours in the garden, greenhouse and the kitchen. I will show you some of my daily activities that help keep me healthy and happy. I will also let you follow me on my trips and provide you with pictures and stories of this beautiful country. Of course there are also always projects on the go and you might like to learn from some of those. I am totally not some kind of a wellness guru but more like a pretty down to earth person that by its choices turns out to be a pretty happy person. Not much can change that. That does however not mean that things always go my way, far from that, but they do not throw me off course. Maybe by following this blog you will be inspired to try out things that you have never done before and change things in your life that ultimately will make you a happier person!
